Schubert + Fourgon
Schubert: Gesang Der Geister Über Den Wassern
Fourgon: A piece for choir, trombone and orchestra (creation. Commissioned by the CAV&MA)
A pillar of German literature, Goethe inspired the greatest romantic composers: For Schubert, the Song of the Spirits Above the Water is a metaphor for the soul agitated by passions, while Michel Fourgon sees the Divan as the perfect opportunity for dialogue between East and West.
